This is a photo of Arizona when he first arrived at the rescue. This was a severe neglect case. Horses in this condition require extensive nutritional and rehabilitative care. In addition to the normal cost of hay and feed, we incur additional veterinary care that exceeds general care.
Your support and contributions will enable us to help these animals.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. In many cases, companies will match dollar for dollar, any contribution made by the employee. Additionally, many companies have a type of "Dollars for Doers' programs offering the non-profit, a stipend based on the number of hours volunteered.
To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please inquire with your company's Benefits department. Please note that this must be initiated by the employee and the Aiken Equine Rescue must be designated.
